624.8 miles total now. The rear tire is wearing out between the tread lugs. Already down to the cords. Soon the tire will blow.

Or the excessive heat and humidity we have been having has been keeping him off the bike.

Actually it is the deer flies, horse flies and mosquitoes that are keeping me from enjoying a good bike ride. Mostly the deer flies as they are the most annoying of all.

Got the bike out Sunday as it turn out to be a nice winter day. Broke trail through the snow in the woods. Have an average 1.5 to 2.0 inches on the ground, bit deeper in the woods though. Rode the bike for 0:38:52 or 2.05 miles. Bike now has 723.8 miles total. Between the road and mountain bikes, the total mileage is 1,255.2 miles. I averaged a speed of 3.1 mph with a maximum of only 5.9 mph. It was tiresome plowing through the snow, but the wide tires on the Mongoose done very well. And only being able to ride in 1st gear too. Breathing in the chilly air didn't help much. But it felt great to hop on it and go for a ride any ways.
