I manly use rechargable batteries now but still once in a while use ordinary Engergizer batteries. Dad uses ordinary Engergizer batteries still.

Not necessarily use Energizer batteries. I prefer Ray-o-vac batteries. But use Duracell, EverReady, store brand, Panasonic to name a few of the disposable batteries.
Yes, I use rechargeable batteries too. Mainly for my digital camera, which I use Energizer Nickel-Metal-Hydride.
The 6-volt flashlight (torch) uses a 6 volt, 4.5 Amp Hour SLA (sealed lead acid) battery. The spring top disposable 6-volt batteries are becoming harder to fine.
I also have two 12 volt, 7.5AHr SLA batteries. One that use to be in my UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) and the other is for my Garmin fish finder.

That's a good one. I think most people overlook the rechargeable battery in our vehicles.

Not mine, it uses a standard alkaline 9-volt battery.
