Maybe we are late but Scotland did the digital TV switchover area by area and its tane 9 months to complte and it completed last week with the final transmitter and its 5 relay stations being tuned off and becoming digital only. Making Scotland now digital only for TV. Signal on the 4 HD channels though the antenna with the HD recorder boxes have now also incresed by 10%.

Yeah, I see the standard converter box for the regular analog TV has come down some in prices. They were over priced at the time for our switch-over back in February 20??.

Yes same here and now that Scotland is digial only the boxes are now at least 5% cheaper on the price they were a few months back. You can now even get a cheap branded LCD 19inch TV with the standered box built in from just over £150.

As much as I watch TV, my standard tube type 19" (Oops, I mean 13 inch VCR/TV combo) Funi TV will do.
