The leaves in Northern Michigan are beginning to change colours. Soon I will be out for a drive viewing the brilliant colours of the fall foliage. A favourite spot is the Tunnel of Trees on M-119 going up towards Cross Village.

Leaves started to change colour here over a week ago in some parts of my area. Somedays the weather feels like autumn(Fall) but other days the weather feels like summer still as a few weeks to go. It also starts to get dark by just after 8pm now. I like the summer but do love the autumn(Fall) feeling. The main TV channels over here started there autumn(Fall) TV schedules over the course of the last week or so.

Leaves were turning brown and falling back in late August early September.

Leaves were starting to change colour here a few weeks ago. Athough over the last week its not felt like fall weather. Its felt more like late summer here but its to start to cool down a little from next week and feel a little like fall forecast says.

It's certainly fall here today. Leaves are dropping before changing. I tried to mow the lawn, but it started to rain. It was a cool, raw, wet & breezy day with temps only in the mid 50's.

Its felt like autumn(fall) here the last 2 days with winds coming from a cool northeast at times. Temperatures during the day have also been near average for the time of year. Leaves are still on some trees here but have changed there colours a little. I will give the lawn a final mow for the season next weekend.

Getting bare around here. Most of the leaves are on the ground. I thought I swept up the yard but with the brisk breeze there are more again. Oh well, will do it again when I have the time.
