Has anyone on here ever used a wi-fi internet radio. I got a Bush wi-fi internet radio over two years ago and it was good at the time but thinking of maybe sometime this year getting a newer more up to date one as some now also come with FM radio or Digital radio.

The only internet radio I use is via my laptop connected to a live streaming radio station on the internet.

That's new to me. The only type of radio I know of is Satellite radio. Either XM or Sirius.

I got the radio the day and it tane me 5 to 10mins to set up via my router and for it to do a software update. So far the FM radio is ok but depending on what radio station you are listening to you get a fant background hiss. The digital radio part of the radio sounds is very clear and most digital stations display the name of station you are listening to and some even tell you the last song thats just been played on the station. Most AM stations and one or two FM stations in my area are rebroadcast via digital radio. You also got 8 or 9 digial radio only stations. Internet radio is easy to use once you get the hang of the touchscreen and you can pick from over 8,000 stations from around the world. you can set 10 prests for intetnet radio and 7 prests for the digital radio and 5 FM prests. Radio also displays a clock in the 24 hour formant with the date and updates its self via the local transmitter when turned on and it also has a alarm clock that you can set to any station you like. It also comes with a snooze thing that you can you after the alram has gone off and it has a sleep timer also. Not tried the alrams as yet. Its also got a facebook app and says other apps coming soon eg. weather and twitter. leaving the radio on standby displays the digial 24 hour clock with date. Overall im 4 out of 5 happy with the radio.

Looks a great radio you got there but it seems a little dear. I got a radio that I used in the home that picks up satelitte radio but not all stations are free.

Radio has now added a weather app thats linked to the AccWeather.com site and it looks something like the windows weather app on Windows 7. I set the weather app on my radio to my local area.

The weather app on my radio via the AccuWeather.com site is great and has been 96% right so far in giving me the weather for the next two hours or so for my area and the weather app updates every 15 or 20mins. Also if you touch on the weather app it also gives you an idea of the weather for the next 36 to 48 hours or so. As well as high and low temp.

Neat item. Though I'll rely on my weather radio. It receives the weather forecast 24 hours per day from the weather service.
