Every new year I seek out the blue book values of my truck and my father's car.
The 2001 Ranger still holds it's value, though a $200 deduction for the mileage being around 121,000 miles. In clean condition, it's retail value is $5,675.00
Father's 1999 Tracer is going up slightly in value do to the relatively lower mileage. At 126,000 miles, it went up by $75. In clean condition, it's retail value is $3,375.
My winter beater is another story. It's rough as both driver's side & passenger side doors on the bottom edge is rusty. Plus other areas around the wheel wells are also starting to rust out. The bonus was the mileage being low for the age of the car. That was a bonus of $250. In rough condition, it's value is only $250. In clean or mint condtion, it's value would have been $1,900.
