Got rid of all Google software and toolbar. Problem is I don't have any way to get to all the forums and other web sites as I no longer have a bookmarker. I did download Yahoo toolbar though, but that won't take in affect till I close my web browser (IE8). I still have to download the latest version of Orbit Downloader. Google Chrome still continues to fail misserably trying to open up URL's from it's bookmark. With a dialog box showing FAILED TO INITIATE. I type in the url's and they still won't go. So that will be removed from my computer as soon as I am done online. Hate to do so, Chrome was the best dam browser I had ever used. Considerably fast and efficient operation. Never had any major problems till the recent update 12/16/2009. It pee's me off they update a perfectly good, smooth running application. Just couldn't leave it alone.

Im not a big fan of Google but have used it once in a while. I have been using the Yahoo toolbar for a few years now and have even put it on the new laptop I got about 3 weeks ago. I have even got my defalt settings to the Yahoo search on both my 4 year old pc and my 3 week old laptop. How do you find IE8 on xp. Im still using IE7 on my xp pc. I do have IE8 on my windows 7 laptop.

My Windows Updater downloaded it is sections at a time over a course of several weeks. Then installed it once the entire file downloaded.
Similar to the workings of Orbit downloader.
