Thanks frosty. Im going to a Fireworks display in Edinburgh the night. The display is held every year on the last Sunday of August or the first Sunday in September. Its to mark the end of Summer and the end of the 3 week Edinburgh Festival and the display lasts about 20mins. Im also going for something to eat before the fireworks display this year as its my sisters birthday tomorrow. The fireworks display usally starts a few mins after sunset and thats just after 8.30pm this year. Edinburgh is about 20mins by train from me. Temperature the last few nights has been in the high 40s f here. Thats about 9c or 10c.

Leaves starting to change color, some trees are beginning to look bare already - do to lack of rainfall.
Will have lots of acorns this year. Last time we had acorns was back in 2005. That usually foretells a mild winter. 2005-06 was certainly a mild one.

Over the last few days the leafs on the trees have started to change colour but the day time temp other the last few weeks has been 1c or 2c above average for the time of year. Its forecast to start to feel more like Autumn by the end of this week. Last winter we never had much snow just some but we did have a good few frosty nights. The winter before last was a little milder.
