After watching CW7 weather forecast by Keith, he said the rain showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will not be severe. Just after his forecast report, the thunderstorms moved in and gave us allot of pea to marble (1/2") size hail. Enough to cover the driveway and grass for a while - till it all melted away. Then the severe thunderstorm warnings were issued. We received a storm total rainfall of 1.07".
Report via email - AT 1056 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING LARGE HAIL. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 6 MILES SOUTH OF LAKE ODESSA TO 8 MILES NORTHEAST OF PAW PAW...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 60 MPH. ONE INCH DIAMETER HAIL WAS REPORTED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT IN MOLINE AT 1015 PM.
