Dickersons greenhouse near Bloomingdale is on fire... potentially due to a lightning strike. A large shed in Lawrence has also caught fire... potentially due to a lightning strike as well. Reports relayed by central dispatch in the city of Paw Paw.

At 901 am EST on Wednesday December 9th... the barometric pressure at Grand Rapids was 28.86 inches. This exceeds the previous record of 28.92 inches set on December 13th 1965. The lowest pressure ever recorded in Grand Rapids was 28.72 inches on March 1st in 1955.
