I used the Accuweather site for my local weather as well as the Accuweather app on my DAB(digital)/Internet radio. That also comes with a Facebook app. I also have this digital weather station in my bedroom. I now also have the windows 7 weather gadget on my desktop since I got my new desktop PC at the end of November. At times I also listen to the weather on the local radio and watch it on TV. Darren

I looked at something like that a good while ago but it seemed very complacated and a little on the dear side. Darren

It's a whole lot cheaper than my Davis Weather Monitor 2 was.
Not too complicated for me. The wind sensor though must be charged up for a while under a bright light while it sync with the other sensors. I've already downloaded the software and manuals. Will be reading up on it till the unit comes. Now I can end the pen & paper data transfer to the PC that I have been doing since summer of 1990 when I really got into weather recording/observing.
I really excited to get this. Really like the software setup.

Should have the weather station by Friday. That'll be good as I can get some mast over the weekend for the anemometer. Needs to be at least 20 feet high to be over the peak of the roof. The weekend is looking mild with temps ABOVE FREEZING![/u] Sensors need to be within 200 feet of each other, the display must be within 330 feet of the main outdoor sensor and the USB transeiver must be within 80 feet of the display.

Got the weather station today. It's all powered up and all sensors are communicating with the display unit and the PC. Will have some wild measurements for February as I've been testing out the sensors. Hope to have some, if not all the sensors outside tomorrow. Will have to get two ten foot lengths of mast.

Se the new sticker on here? Probably won't have any data on it by the time anyone sees it as I'm on dial-up. But when I am online the sticker will update or refresh.
