Lets try to stay within limits of the OP topicThose airliners are lose allot of money just sitting on the tarmac.
Why not ship these people by boat? It's an obvious inconvenience as planes are much faster, but there is always ships that people can take to get where they need to go. Some are now starting to take a ferry but in some cases thats just cant happen as it just takes to long anf when they get to other end some still have to get by bus opr train home. Darren

Most UK airports have reopened this morning but some airlines are only running to a Sunday time table untill they try and get back to normal service.
