I didn't know you had a Cavalier? They are good cars, I had one. I am over 2000+ miles overdue for an oil change. My Cavalier is good till 123,306 miles. Bought it off my sister, whome bought it for her boys to get out and look for work. So it sat by her garage for over a year without being used. I needed a winter beater to drive to work and save my pickup from being ditched. So I bought it off of her back in the last weekend of October. Had to do some fixing of minor things, but the car has been running good for me. Now I'm permanently laid off.

I am over 2000+ miles overdue for an oil change. That's one way to shorten the life of your car

I'm probably about 2500+ miles overdue now. Just haven't had the funds right now. With the holidays coming up and the end of the month bills coming in, there just isn't much left. Last oil change was in July.

Gonna have to take care of that car if your expecting to get around. Lack of proper oil lever (LEVEL) will cause engine seizure. Then what? You'll be out of a car again.
It cost me $18 to change the oil in my cavalier as I use generic brand oil and a good Hastings filter.

I just got the oil changed this afternoon. I was just over 2600 miles overdue. It is unlike me to let it go so long but with little hours at work its hard to get the required maintenance done. It cost me just under $30 at Pennzoil in Roscommon. Gonna have to take care of that car if your expecting to get around. Lack of proper oil lever will cause engine seizure. Then what? You'll be out of a car again. It cost me $18 to change the oil in my cavalier as I use generic brand oil and a good Hastings filter.

I looked all over the engine compartment on my truck and I could not find the "oil lever" and now I am worried that I do not have a proper "oil lever" and my truck engine will seize up soon. Or do diesel engines not have an "oil lever"?
Just pulling your chain, mugrb, I know that you meant "level" and not "lever" but I just could not help myself.

TheForce - why don't you just do it yourself. It isn't that difficult. Sawcut - glad someone is proof reading these. ;D Being so late at night I forget to do so.
