Im still using IE 7 on my xp Dell PC. My new HP laptop that has windows 7 uses IE 8 and I see there are only minor changes to ie 8 from ie 7. So far IE 8 seems to work ok with windows 7 but I have not really fully used my new laptop yet. Must be xp that IE 8 dont work right with.

How are you liking Windows 7 so far? Windows 7 seems fine and so far seems loads 30 seconds faster than XP on my PC but im still getting used to the menus. As there is a good few changes to windows 7 from XP. Setting up wireless to my router was very easy with Windows 7 and every time I now turn laptop on it connects to my wireless network after 30 or so seconds. I will still be using my nearly 4 year old xp PC 70% of the time. As pc still works 97%/98% fine. I may in the next 2 or 3 years think about getting a new PC. Darren

Back to Firefox I guess. I spent nearly the entire day Thursday trying to get Chrome to work. Been working beautifully up till Thursday morning when it downloaded a new update. Now it crashes every time I go to a web site. Closes itself. Or a dialog pops up with Application failed to initiate properly (0x0000022) or (0x000005). So into the recycle bin it went. Doubt it I'll be able to download the entire file again being several MB in size. Can't even get Spybot Search & Destroy 1.62 as that's 16.8 Mb in size. Even Orbit down-loader won't download it.
